ballotutto vuole essere un omaggio a tutti quelli che, come me, hanno amato i Megamix Bootleg, tipo Broadway 80, Blackout, Rock Ola e la serie Test Pressing 1-2-3 ecc ecc… Anche se tutto faceva pensare ad una produzione Made in USA, questi mix venivano realizzati in Italia da Dj dilettanti e non. I primi che ricordo nacquero verso la fine degli anni 70 ed hanno resistito fino a metà anni 80. La novità stava nel fatto che, per la prima volta, si ascoltavano vari artisti miscelati tra loro senza nessuna costrizione discografica e in totale libertà espressiva. A mio giudizio, questi mix, per come venivano realizzati, costituivano uno spunto creativo a tanti artisti, e chi, come me, ha amato questi dischi, sa cosa intendo dire. Questo mixage vuole semplicemente ricreare quelle sensazioni, ponendo un attenzione su certe soluzioni attuali.
